Tandem Paragliding from the Niederhorn

Tandem Paragliding high above the Lake of Thun from the beautiful Niederhorn – The Niederhorn sites high above the Thunersee. With a height of 1960m it’s the second highest from all our offered flight spots.

We go up to the top by a cable railway and have an absolutely gorgeous view over the Bernese Oberland and the Niesen right in the opposite of the Niederhorn. This mountain is due to certain weather conditions not always possible to fly from.

We fly down towards Beatenberg and land in Unterseen, Lehn. There you can hitch a ride back with the bus to Interlaken.

We meet each other at the bottom of the cable railway Beatenbergbahn. You could even get there by boat from Interlaken. See you there!

Experience

Tandem Paragliding high above the Lake of Thun from the beautiful Niederhorn – Enjoy a fantastic height of 1400m surrounded by mountains and lakes with crystal clear water – a very unique all round experience in the region. Also a thermal flight could be possible here.

Meeting Point

In order to have a smooth flight procedure, please be punctual at the meeting point which you will find on the map in each offer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Your Equipment

All you need are the right clothes for the season, good shoes, sunglasses and suncream. Preferably you are wearing long pants and maybe a windbreaker. A helmet is provided by Swissgliders.

Maximum Weight

Due to equipment limits, passengers weight cannot exceed 110kg.

Flight Confirmation

If the flight is doable or not will be decided on the previous day latest until 20:00 PM. The pilot will contact you in any case, also when the flight has to be postponed and another suitable date needs to be agreed on.

Transfer To Starting Point

In order to have a smooth flight procedure, please take some cash with you to buy a transfer ticket. This could be a cablecar, public transport, a cab or shuttle bus.
