Tandem Paragliding near to Thun around Stockhorn – If we have wind coming from east in Switzerland, Mentschele is a perfect spot to fly. 1590m height gives you wings for 10-15min. Maybe even more when the weather is good. You have a beautiful view to Thun and whole Gürbetal.

During this flight we take a nice glide down to the Blumenstein. A car is preferable. Otherwise there is also a bus. By train Burgistein is the closest station so that we can pick you up there.

Mentschele offers Hike & Fly opportunities as well.

Experience

Tandem Paragliding near to Thun around Stockhorn – Metschelealp has a height of 1590m and offers a fantastic view over Gürbetal and Thunersee. Soaring and Thermal flight might be possible as well as Hike & Fly if the weather is appropriate.

Meeting point

In order to have a smooth flight procedure, we need you to be on time at the defined meeting point which you will find on each map in the product. If something is unclear, do not hesitate to contact us.

Your equipment

All you need are the right clothes for the season, good shoes, sunglasses and suncream. Preferably you are wearing long pants and maybe a windbreaker. A helmet is provided by Swissgliders.

Maximum Weight

Due to equipment limits, passengers weight must not exceed 110kg.

Flight confirmation

If the flight is doable or not will be decided on the previous day latest until 20:00 PM. The pilot will contact you in any case, also when the flight has to be postponed and another suitable date needs to be agreed on.

Transfer to starting point

In order to have a smooth flight procedure, we need you to have some cash on you to buy a transfer ticket. This could be a cablecar, public transport, a cab or shuttlebus.
